Adult Ministries

We are created as relational beings. This means we naturally seek connection with others. In fact, the two greatest commandments deal with relationships. Jesus calls us, “To love God with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” and “To love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:29-30). In Adult Ministries at Redwood, we seek to provide opportunities to grow in our relationship with God and connect in meaningful community with others.

CIRCLE UP GROUPS

Circle Up Groups are the primary way we connect in ‘life on life’ discipleship. Throughout the New Testament, believers are called to love one another. Jesus put it succinctly, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:34-35). We cannot love one another in isolation, but together we experience community. Some of these small groups meet weekly and others twice a month. Some are sermon-based and others participate in various Bible studies. All of them seek to deepen our relationship with God and with one another.

MEN'S MINISTRIES

Men’s Ministries, with God’s direction, seeks to be men that lead men to take responsibility with humility and a servant’s heart. We pursue being men that resist passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, invest eternally and love unconditionally.

WOMEN'S MINISTRIES

Women’s Ministries exists to encourage, equip and empower women to grow in their relationship with God, connect with one another and to live with godly character in order to make an a difference in their homes, their communities and the world. We seek to build connection with each other and become a fuller expression of God’s child through Bible studies, events, and Love Mercy, Do Justice groups.

CLASSES

Classes can provide support, greater depth of understanding and connection with others. Some classes focus on situations you may be facing in life. Other classes provide an opportunity to delve into questions regarding Scripture, faith, and Christian living. We encourage you to explore classes offered in the Fall, Winter and Spring.
